Field Trip #17 – Old Settler’s Park, Round Rock
We spent a day at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock, just north of us. Great trails for bike riding and hiking, good picnic areas, water, and open areas for games. It was another really nice outing.

How does he do that? See the creek behind me?

More ducks… and some on the water too.

It is good to hear and see that you had a good time in Old Settlers Park. There are a lot of events that take place in that park throughout the year. If you are interested there is a big fourth of July celebration and fireworks show. It is supposed to be a good one.
Also, events are posted on the City’s blog at
http://www.roundrocktexas.gov/cc/rocker. Feel free to check it and see whats going on in our parks.
