Field Trip #19 – Enchanted Rock
As our official guide and handbook announced to us, this trip falls outside the self-imposed distance parameters for hikes around the Austin area; however, this area is just too good, too beautiful to pass up. Our guide was correct. The early April breeze and sun was a refreshing mix of heat and coolness. The hikes, though difficult in places, were satisfyingly simple and ended in majestic beauty.

When Moses awoke Thursday morning, Tabitha had buried a treasure and designed and written a map for him to follow. It took Moses to the furthest reaches of our home before leading him to the hidden prize.
